This reminds me of a live version of the Current Archaeology 'news' pages, only better! Please keep producing this feature

Danni and team this was great. Keep it up

Elizabeth West

Great show! Have you seen this? In North Holland a guy found an medieval gold treasure recently https://archeologieonline.nl/nieuws/unieke-middeleeuwse-goudschat-ontdekt-in-hoogwoud

Mieke Kemper

Very interesting to see!

Spyderactive

Great show - Thanks!

Neil

I’ve said this in other comments, but Ness of Brodgar news would be awesome! Final dig next year!

Katy Brown

Excellent episode! So glad this will be a recurring feature!

Joanne Kellam

This was excellent! I'm glad you will be making this a new regular feature.

Dorothy Frank

It would be fantastic to see these as a regular show. And it would also be great to follow up on some of the stories you featured at a later date. Thank you

Jaya Bhat

Dani, enjoyed your take on all the new sites. Looking forward to the next update. Good job

Priscilla Logan

How fantastic! Really well done, thank you to all involved, and especially Dani for such a clear style.

Christopher Samuel

Absolutely loved it and another opportunity to spread the Patreon word on YouTube!

Bron Lloyd

Really enjoyed this, looking forward to more! I think it's a good length. The number of sites covered seems to work well, balanced well with the amount and breadth of information provided to give a really nice top-level look at these sites. Also thought the onsite dig was a good addition. Very much looking forward to more!

Elaine P

This was really interesting. Great addition. Energy from Dani is infectious 😁

Ben Matthews

Victor was incredible, I really loved his ability to bring things to life. The descriptions from Robin and illustrations from Victor were wonderful. May they both rest in peace.

Ben Matthews

I’d love to see mention of the digs at sites in Oregon and Idaho in the US extending back the time of humans in North America. Some fascinating stuff there. An 18,200 year old camel’s tooth on top of a stone tool at one site.

Bill Erickson

Dani, the camera loves you and so do we... this is such a great feature. 🙌Well done, Time Team... shining a bright light on the past 🌞

Patricia Amero

Very enjoyable! I hope you can find enough suitable content to keep this level of interest going every month.

Keith Jackson

I really enjoyed it and thank you for this new feature .

Sarah Holloway

That was brilliant! I thoroughly enjoyed the programme.

Carol Piddington

That was a very nice archeological news episode. Looking forward to the next!

Can't wait to watch this! Also, if you are taking format ideas as well as content ideas, I would love to see a recurring segment that compliments and expands one of the news items where we get snippets of contemporary accounts from any written records available paired with some illustrations similar to what Victor provided. I always liked hearing the voice of people from written accounts and viewing the illustrations that were bustling with activity and historical detail. It really helped bring the time period to life. I've seen a few lovely illustrations in the recent dig episodes but would enjoy seeing more.

More medieval sites. Love the Scandinavian ones projected. And I noticed Ukraine has massive new emergency sites and not enough people with expertise. Maybe when things stop exploding that would be both interesting and a perfect five days. Honestly, a bit worn down by WWII digs.

Ann H

I'm so excited!

Jenna Tomlin

I am so very happy to be back among the backers.

Is it time yet??? *bounces off walls*

I'd love to see something from Scotland from the 13th-14th century . Anything from Robert the Bruce time?
