Blop - slimy painting continued
Added 2023-06-27 16:11:34 +0000 UTCI made her tongue wet. I actually cheated by looking at some anime paintings of tongues and copying them.
She actually is supposed to be a cross between anime and 30s rubber hose cartoons - like a futuristic Betty Boop.
Next I started sliming her body. I first airbrushed some fat soft shapes inside her silhouette then airbrushed thin lines around the outsides of her left arm, legs and torso.
I noticed I hadn't finished her hair yet. Her pony tail was still flat colors so I brushed some hairy strokes onto it.
I slimed her right arm.
Then I did her left hand. I also made some of her flesh layers slightly translucent.
I realized I forgot to render her ear so I finished that.
I dropped in a textured background so her translucency would become more evident.
I also rendered the knobs on the end of her eyelash antennae.
I added some sparkly spattery crap on her face to make her feel more magical and then tweaked a few details. And that was that.
It's not quite as shiny or translucent as my favorite sea creatures but I'll work on that on my next Blop painting.
