For the last couple of days my computer has been rerendering all of the body images used in LR2 to eliminate the gaps seen in some positions between a girls chin and their body. While that was rendering I worked on a bunch of individually small tasks that should add up to a noticeable improvement in quality. These tasks have included: adding more personal information to a girls bio, showing exactly how much research, production, etc. the player generated when taking a business work action, and adding new dialogue lines when you stop having sex early.

Each of these additions adds a little bit of detail to the game, but a little bit of detail can go a long way. Every variation in dialogue helps make a character feel distinct, and when you notice dialogue changing as a girl becomes more slutty, obedient, or in love, it makes that change much more impactful for the player. Variations in descriptions or reactions based on outfits, stats, or other characters can take a single scene and make it feel dramatically different. I'm focusing this detail work on sections of the game that are likely to be seen often; a player would never know there was a variation in a one-off interaction.

Subtle changes to the way the game reports information can also help explain the systems of the game. The sex position menu now displays a textual description and a tooltip when hovered, describing how that position is likely to affect a girl instead of just listing sluttiness requirements and maximums. A player can now see that some positions are possible because the girl is obedient enough, while other positions are boring because she is already too slutty. This feedback explains the game to the player while during play, instead of using a tutorial that interrupts play.

I'm starting to write Alexia's general dialogue and introduction scenes, which should be fun and take up a couple of days! I'm looking forward to seeing her introduced into the game!
