Refactoring the Sex System!
Added 2019-11-16 08:15:00 +0000 UTCLast dev log I talked about the game play changes I was planning for the sex system of Lab Rats 2. Since then I've sat down, looked through the existing code for the system, and decided it's time for it all to be re-written. Bit by bit the old system had built up a bunch of kludges that worked but limited what I could do or how elegantly I could do it. I've pulled out all the old code, worked out how the new code is going to work on a conceptual level, and I'm now in the process of writing it all. In a day or two I hope to have all of the coding finished, which will include implementing the new energy system. There won't be any huge obvious changes (besides the new mechanics being introduced), but some quirks of the system, like always progressing a sex scene after stripping a girl, will be eliminated and future work will be much easier.

I was wondering if you had any plans regarding corporate Hierarchy? We have the Head of Research but that at a certain size, it would make ense to have department heads for all departments right? Also a hierarchy could prove useful for more interactions. Have different levels of employements like interns, workers, supervisors and such, promising promotion or demoting people, as well as interaction between coworkers as events like a slutty supervisor making the obedient intern eat her out or something of the sort. Of course this would be more end game content but I was wondering what your thoughts are about that? Keep up the great work and thanks for all you do (especially sharing your progress and process).

2019-11-20 13:19:42 +0000 UTCSomething you'll want to address (which I patched myself in the last few versions) is changing positions in public. The public flag was not correctly carried over after changing positions, so the spectators stopped spectating.

2019-11-17 15:30:58 +0000 UTCI'm really enjoying the game in this state, there's enough story stuff that it feels way less like a grind now. I hope pregnancy with models comes in soon, and that it's not only part of the ending like in LR1.
