Lab Rats 2 Tech Demo and v0.1 Release Plans
Added 2017-12-11 10:07:04 +0000 UTCWhew, I've had a hectic couple of days but things are starting to calm down. That means I'll have some more time to push ahead with LR2. Getting different character heights working is next up on my list of things to do, which should be another solid step towards greater character customization.
Development of LR2 has come along far enough that I want to show it off to the awesome people who are supporting the project with their hard earned money. On Wednesday night/Thursday morning I will be releasing a tech demo version of the game for $10 patrons to take a peek at. This version won't really be a game (and won't be a numbered version), but it should give a feel for where content will be added and what the gameplay will end up being like. If you enjoy sexy scenes like "TODO:Blowjob_Description_3" then this tech demo will interest you!
After the tech demo is out my priority is going to shift from working on the base systems of Lab Rats 2 to producing the content that will fill it out. This means new clothing items, new dialogue, new actions, serum traits, sex descriptions, and so on. Once there is a decent chunk of content in the game and it is fun to play in it's most basic form I will schedule a v0.1 release. Just like Lab Rats 1 this will go live to $5 patrons first for testing, then be released to the public absolutely free once the bugs have been fixed up. I expect the v0.1 release will be ready in two or three weeks, and I will be keeping you all updated on it's progress as I go.
