Finishing up Dialogue for v0.26.1!
Added 2020-03-04 09:57:38 +0000 UTCWhen I started work on v0.26.0 of Lab Rats 2 and planned out the new taboo system I knew there was going to be a fair amount of dialogue that would have to be written. This was good, since variations in dialogue and special dialogue for key moments is part of what makes each moment in the game feel unique. I don't think I quite realised how much dialogue I would end up having to write though: A couple of days after the patron release and I'm still writing it!
v0.26.0 included a whopping 28,000 words of dialogue, which covered the 4 base personality types, custom lead-ins for all of the sex positions during a taboo break, all of Mom's personality, and half of Lily's. I'm now finishing up Lily's and hoping to start in on Gabrielle's tomorrow. Going into v0.27 I will probably spend some time and add custom taboo breaks for Rebecca and add special branches for all of the base personalities for situations where the girl is in an affair.
I haven't just been writing these last couple days; I have been hard at work fixing up all of the bugs people have reported in v0.26.0 and making a few tweaks and additions to the game as well. Most recently I added a modifier to the sluttiness required for anal vs vaginal sex for family members. This should effectively swap what order they are available, giving them a different feel to non-related characters.

It'll definitely be an opt-in kind of interaction. Probably not an explicit menu button, but a result you have to go out of your way to attain. As an example: asking girls to go off birth control or using researchable serum traits.

2020-03-07 09:21:42 +0000 UTCI like the option to manage haircuts and color as part of the main game without the need to incorporate any mods. As for the other update I'm curious if there will there be a way to disable pregnancies for characters? That's not my cup of tea.

2020-03-06 21:59:23 +0000 UTCManaging haircuts and hair color would be amazing. I'm sure it's coming sooner or later. Also it'd be fun to have serum effects that caused girls to grow taller or shorter, thinner or thicker.
2020-03-05 22:20:06 +0000 UTCEverything looks great, I like the attention to detail with dialogue. The pregnancy update will be a real jackpot, but I am sure we can wait for it. I also hope there will be some form of body modification available at some point, anything from pressuring your employees to lose weight, to making drugs that increase the growth of certain parts. I am not sure if this is possible yet, but at the very least you should be able to manage the haircuts of employees.
