It's interesting to see these movies reviewed as I've not watched most of them. More than that I grew up with Japanese shows such as Samurai, Phantom Agents, Prince Planet, and Princess Knight which left me with a different, less goofy, impression of Japanese cinema. Mind you, I did watch an episode of Phantom Agents recently and found it made a lot less sense than my memories suggested it would.
