Lighting Effects

I just wanted to clear something up with a certain editing effect I've gotten DM'd four times about, lighting, lens flares, and light flickering effects. These effects aren't really my style of editing and I wouldn't really feel safe using them since most HMV editors have to put epilepsy warnings before the HMV starts, I'd rather not have to do that with mine, also since some other editors already use this effect I'd rather not use it as well, so we can continue to have editors that have different and unique style of editing, we wouldn't want every HMV to start feeling the same.

With that said though, if there are any other editing effects that you think might be cool or fit my style, just leave them down in the comments and I'll see what I can do ^^

I'm always welcome to new Ideas, It's just this one I feel like HAS to be done right or not at all and with how often I switch clips in some of my HMVs, like 'So Sick' for example. People would just get blinded I feel like lol, but I completely agree with your comment.

2021-08-18 13:11:35 +0000 UTCI think editors tend to use the effects they enjoy in others' works, in which case they understand and have a feel for how to use them. I wouldn't want to push an editor to use something they don't "get".
