New moves in the new year

Hello everyone! I'm neck deep in pre-production for Frozen '50s Man 4, building a huge train dining car set in the studio and thrifting for props and costumes and things. We're shooting the vast majority of it within an unusually short time frame, the last week of January to the second week of February (typically for webseries-type productions we'll shoot a little bit every weekend for a few months depending on cast and crew schedules). Unfortunately that doesn't mean it'll be done right away after that, as this episode is pretty effects-heavy and there will be at least a few days of pickups and a pretty protracted post process.

On the historical research front, I'm making my way through some really enlightening books and essays about the American Revolution. I'll probably write the scripts of my first couple AmRev videos this month, then film them in February after we have most of Frozen '50s Man in the can. I think first up will be my collaboration with Brandon Fisichella, so that's exciting!

This week I've also been toying with a new long-term artistic direction for the channel to possibly implement after this year of Revolution content (the broad strokes of which I articulated – probably badly – in my recent vlog for $50 and up patrons) but it's best I don't say too much about it for now.
