Three Polls in a day? Oy Vey.

But seriously, I suffer from an overactive imagination. I'm constantly creating even when I'm focus on actual work and normal life activities.

So I have three stories to throw at you. I will write all three in the future, but I would like to see which people would prefer.

Timely Death Comes - Story Idea 1

In honor of one of my favorite game series of all time, which almost led to me becoming a Voice Actor, which has recently announce a remaster for two of its games, this story is set in the Gothic Horror series known as...

The Legacy of Kain

Soul Reaver 1 and 2 are getting a remaster. I always wanted to write a story for this setting ever since Blood Omen 2, but I was always intimidated because of the Shakespearian levels of writing and deep philosophical and existential themes involved that were beyond my ability at the time.

In my honest opinion, LoK is one of the best games ever written and I love everything about it.

Now I can write such stories as I am far more skilled than I was at that younger age.

That said, it will require some understanding of the setting to know what I am speaking of, but otherwise...

Moebius is dead, but death is not permanent in this decaying world. The Elder God was not yet finished with his servant, for he still had a use to fulfill. Plans within plans that had been set with meticulous intent long before Kain and Raziel had even been conceived.

Moebius however, was not satisfied. He had one last card to play. Despite the wheel of fate being turned by the Elder God, time was still somewhat malleable to those who understood the ways of its manipulation. And there was no one more capable than Moebius in this.

With his death, and the corruption of the Pillars of Nosgoth, the cycle of choosing a new guardian had ended, and only with Kain's death would this be undone. The restoration of the Pillars would bring back the balance, though to the Elder Gods ultimate benefit. Moebius, faithful to his God, would see to it with one last play.

The cycle was undone, but with his God's help, as the being existed in all eras of time and possessed Omnipresence, thus is aware of events regardless of the era, did Moebius once more step through time, and into the past. Returning as a specter before Ariel's Death, thus sending the cycle into its preordained purpose of choosing a new Guardian of time.

A child was born that day, a girl named Siren, and though the corruption would drive the child into darkness as it had Kain, Moebius would be there for her. He would guide this child, help this child grow into her new position, and make her into the tool of his God's Will.

The time will come when Kain and Siren shall face one another in a Reckoning. He intends to see that Kain meets his end, no matter what.

Just as a heads up, this is not an AU. I will spoil it a bit and say this takes place in the timeline that Raziel had created when he changed the past. The events of Defiance will occur as they should, as this story takes place between that, and SoulReaver 2.

This is a fate driven world, and as much as it sucks to hear, this story does not have a happy ending. It's a tragedy. In the end, Kain succeeds in defeating Meoebius, and Siren dies.

It's how this happens that I will keep to myself. The events are in my head currently.

I intend for this to be a one shot of around 20-30 chapters long.

I will be putting all my skill into this to do the standard set by the series proper justice.

Dorf Fren! - Story Idea 2

Something more fun, this is yet ANOTHER SI story. This one is different as it's a quantum leap styled story. The SI is chosen by the "stars" to fix problems and save various Dwarf civilizations across the multiverse.

This means going to Middle Earth, Warhammer Fantasy (Dawi), Warhammer 40k (Squats/Votaan), Dragon Age, Forgotten Realms, We are the Dwarves, Deep Rock Galactic, and so on. I know only a handful of worlds, so suggestions of other settings where Dwarves need help is appreciated.

As the character does his part, the Stars grant him boons that give him characteristics of the Dwarven Race, and the higher he gets, the more powerful and Dwarf-like he becomes.

Welcome to the Caliban Nebula! - Story Idea 3

A Battletech story. Not an SI. An AU.

General Kerensky's fleet of ships began to close in on the Pentagon worlds that they would settle and make their new homes...but the universe had other plans.

AS the ships passed through the Caliban Nebula, they found themselves unable to leave the Nebula. There was a powerful force generated by the Nebula itself that prevented one from exiting out of it. They were trapped.

And the Exodus fleet discovered quickly, they weren't the only ones here. The Exodus was looking for a new home, and it seems they have to take what they can get. Maybe they can bering some Unity while they are at it.

This is inspired by the Battletech non-canon supplement "California Nebula", which introduced parodies and expies for Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, DC/Marvel comics, D&D, Star Wars, Halo, Fallout, Transformers, and others.

While I will not give away all of the setting the Caliban nebula will parody/expy, I will give away...a few that will be clear within the first five chapters.

Starcraft, Babylon 5, Armored Trooper Votoms, Cyberpunk, and Zombie Apocalypse movies.

there are close to fifteen others I have not listed here.
