My MacBook doesn’t even have a place for me to hook up an internet cable so every time I come back to Canada I’m left without internet for my MacBook or a WiFi connection for my phone.
Not sure why this took me so long but I finally realized I could just buy a converter for my MacBook from the Apple store so I could hook up the internet cable. BUT WAIT IT GETS BETTER. Also set up my MacBook to be a WiFi hotspot that I can use with my phone😎 So we are officially back in business and I can start posting here (and on Discord) again🙌🏻
Shhh don’t tell my Dad.

My Dad, amongst other things, always takes out large amount of money so he can pay with cash instead of card because "compagnies can track what you buy and where you are with those". I'm glad you figured out a solution though!
