The Weirdest Izakaya yet...
Added 2019-03-28 05:07:45 +0000 UTCWent to a really strange, quirky izakaya in Roppongi called “Yellow Wind” last week. All of the alcoholic drinks (except for sake) increase in size as you order another one. One of my friends got to the 5th stage of whiskey highball (pictured here) and it was absolutely ridiculous!! I’m honestly surprised he managed to make it back home safe that night😅
The food was also pretty unique. We got the set course menu - but the dishes change every day so you never know what you’re going to get. I gave away my portion of fish sperm tempura (yum! lol) but really enjoyed the fresh bread they made in-house😍
Over all the food was pretty meh and the service was questionable, but the overall experience was so strange I really enjoyed the evening and would probably go back again just for the laughs.
