The Moving has Begun!! New Apartment & New CITY Coming Soon!! 🥳

Hey guys! I got accepted for an apartment!!! It all happened WAY quicker than I was expecting, which is great and I'm super stoked!!! But, instead of sorting out the merch contest design entries like I had planned to do this week, unfortunately I've had to go through all my things, clean up my place, organize the moving company, and deal with all the fun paperwork that comes along with moving in Japan. (It's a LOT. Japan loves paperwork🙃)

Today was the first day of the packing extravaganza with the moving company (yep, it's more than a one day process apparently, 5 to be exact😅) They packed all my things into boxes, and took apart the furniture. So now all I've got left in my apartment is my desk, computer, toothbrush, a futon, and some cat supplies. Kinda feels like camping, should've set up a tent😂 They'll be back in a few days to carry everything out to their truck, and then over the next couple of days they'll move it into my new apartment and set everything up! It's such a wild experience, I've never worked with a Japanese moving company before but they're pretty amazing! I'm vlogging the process so you guys will be able to see what it's been like this week.

Because I have the worst luck ever, I also had two trips that I planned ages ago happening during all of this😂 One with Chris and Ryotaro to help as a cameraman, we travelled all throughout North Japan, it was quite action packed. And the other was a trip with friends to Hakodate, Hokkaido! I vlogged the North Japan trip so that'll be in my next video which is coming out in a couple days. And the photos in this post are from the Hakodate trip! 

I feel like Hakodate is so under appreciated! It's SUCH a gorgeous city. It's an interesting mix of both Western and Japanese architecture because of the foreign influence there. It's famous for seafood and melons! Had a cup of melons (photo above) for breakfast this morning and they were sooo juicy and sweet. Sad I didn't have time to eat more really, haha. 

I'm sorry about the merch contest entries not being up to vote on yet! I've been running around non-stop and haven't had a chance to sit down for a few hours to organize them all. I think it will have to wait until I'm settled into the new apartment now because I'm going to be dealing with the moving company for the next few days. 

Alright, back to cleaning up my place before the real estate agent comes to check it over and tell me how much I have to pay for all the holes I made in the walls😂
