It’s Johanna.
First of all let me tell you that we are very grateful for your great support, without you, this beautiful Patreon project would not be possible.

2021-05-03 13:19:00 +0000 UTCeh, it takes 2 seconds to glue it onto a base unless you're trying to use PVA glue or something :P if the model is on a flat base, its easy to chop off in meshmixer, if there's some textures/scenic base it can take longer Also for supporting, its easier to support a model as two parts, rather than attached to the base

2021-05-01 00:12:52 +0000 UTCMuch more difficult to do that in my opinion. I usually have minis in the best orientation with the fewest supports, which doesn't lend to adding bases on in the slicer. Though I guess it's a fair point that you can join them easily in meshmixer or blender also.

2021-04-30 23:34:23 +0000 UTCOr simply join (overlap) the base and the model on your slicing software :)

2021-04-30 23:20:54 +0000 UTCNo base attached (and nice detailed bases on the side? ;) )

2021-04-30 16:52:25 +0000 UTCI say with base. Takes 2 seconds to drop it in Meshmixer and cut off the base. Takes way longer to glue tiny feet onto a base.

2021-04-30 15:32:40 +0000 UTCHmm, I am going to recommend both Tab and No Base, letting the downloader choose which or both.

2021-04-30 03:15:12 +0000 UTCPrefiero sin base, si estaría bien alguna base escénica, pero para alguna figura concreta. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡Gran Trabajo!!!!!!!!!!!
Manuel Miralles Batista
2021-04-29 22:13:19 +0000 UTCWith limited time, I prefer you to focus on the figures and make them great instead, meanwhile if you can consider the interchangable weapon, shield, heads, that would be even greater

2021-04-29 17:47:41 +0000 UTCEither no base no tab, or with nicer (not plain) bases. I was sad the presupported files without a base had a tab. Now I have to cut the tabs off to put them cooler runic bases.

2021-04-29 16:09:00 +0000 UTCYo sin bases ni tabs, bases tengo tropecientas.

2021-04-29 16:07:01 +0000 UTCI prefer without base and without tabs, in order to get more options.

2021-04-29 16:05:01 +0000 UTCLike so many others, I'm not a fan of the tabs. They are nostalgic for sure and a way to put your personal stamp on the minis, but they'll just get cut off in most cases. I would prefer no base or tab, just plain feet. Offering a themed base that the mini fits on would be nice too.
Dan Smith
2021-04-29 15:44:55 +0000 UTCI voted no base or tab. I would prefer to use my own base. And even though a tab could be remove post printing, they are an artifact of metal casting days and no longer needed.

2021-04-29 15:34:17 +0000 UTCThank you for putting this up for a vote. Really shows you listen. Cheers.

2021-04-29 15:16:05 +0000 UTCWithout a base is cool, but having a separate monthly themed base would be even better !

2021-04-29 14:59:23 +0000 UTCI like either no base or a tab, I still have plenty of slottas to get through
Renfield286
2021-04-29 14:54:54 +0000 UTCNo base and no tab for me, since I like to use roll and putty bases, for example
Mattia Pontini
2021-04-29 14:52:19 +0000 UTCanything but tabs :P but it's good to see last release that you offer all possible options... only complaint... you need to feed a bit more your esqueletons...they're so "thin" that only look at them and they break :P

2021-04-29 14:51:24 +0000 UTCI'm in the No Base and no Tab camp. I use my own bases.

2021-04-29 14:38:52 +0000 UTCI love tabs, VERY old fashioned

2021-04-29 14:38:46 +0000 UTCOne of the benefits of 3d printing, not to mention various rollers and stamps, is that basing can be done in a variety of ways. Having them without the base is the way to go IMO.
Joe Kushner
2021-04-29 14:37:20 +0000 UTCI prefer the "Without the Base" option since it would make easier to use my own bases
