And gossip spreads like wildfire.

I hardly got any progress done on Forest Tails this week, thanks largely to my unbearable control issues and the fact that I've fallen into another one of my obsessive fan art moods, this time for BlackTeagan's Oren's Forge. While it's bothersome, I've come to accept that I can't really do much, besides forcefully vomit my ideas onto digital canvas until I've drained them all from my skull - so yeah, both you people and Teag better prepare for that <.<

That's not to say I haven't made any progress on anything at all. I've recently picked up my (now years old) backlog on commissions and slowly grinding my way through that. Completed a set of thumbnail sketches which are moving into pre-lines, so - yay? I've also hit a bit of a wall within myself. Hoping to get that cleared up while on vacation, set myself moving forward again properly. Life's never that easy though, is it X3

Other than that, you may begin to notice what I mentioned about trying to get the characters closer to their natural looks. Nele's head is moving closer to a rabbits again, especially the nose area. Here's to hoping I can keep that up for the future.

Not a whole lot happening on this page besides morning stuff. Next week's page will be uploaded early, as I'm heading to Eurofurence on tuesday.

Music selection for this page was a mix between what I like to call stoner rock (a genre of music I have an on-and-off relationship with) by "The Re-Stoned", interspersed with a local music 'has-been' legend who nobody's gonna know or have any reason to listen to, because it's in local dialect german, so let's not go there XD

As it is though, stoner rock is definitely an influential genre for Forest Tails. While most of the concepting was done to melodic electronica like Hinkstep, stoner rock is essentially the analogous version of that genre (even though it certainly predates it).

To clarify, while I personally have no issues with drugs (at least the natural kind), I limit myself to alcohol in reasonable doses. Just don't need the idea that I hang around in my desk chair in a cloud of weed smoke floating around out there, although I'm sure there's plenty of people who would attribute some of my writing and characters to that particular trope of "hippie" Xb

I don't have much to share on this page for today. I still gotta sort some stuff out with myself, but as I said above, I'm hoping to get that sorted out on next week's vacation at Eurofurence.
