The steam beta update *should* fix it, if you also have the wireless software fully updated & all of your components firmware fully updated. - I say should because I only just re-started using my vive wireless & the first thing I did was update everything, so I never ran into the bug.

I genuinely noped out of the game at one point cos running away from things lead to more things and I couldn't handle the stress 😄 managed to get through that bit, but I kinda hated it. It's probably the game I simultaneously hate and love the most at the moment 😄
