Hey Everyone!
Just thought I'd share some photos and do a little recap of the first week of the tour!
Here's something i saw at the Amsterdam airport. It is a vending machine called a Health Food Wall which had salads and wraps in it.

A tour bus was picking us up to take us to Hamburg.

Here's the venue in Hamburg. It is a converted mechanical engineering factory that now houses several theatres and dance studios and show spaces.

We were setting up in their K2 theatre. Here is the riser with all the seats set up for the audience.

Here's a photo of our stage set up with the work lights on. You can see the cameras with their tripods and jibs. Corinne designed our sets to be modular and collapsible, so that they can be packed up and transported relatively easily.

Here's what the stage looks like in "show mode"

All 6 performances of The Storyville Mosquito in Hamburg sold out to super fun audiences that were very vocal and rowdy! They even started stomping on the risers like it was a football game or something during a key moment in the 3rd act!
My friend Lealani also came to Hamburg to play at the after show concert/party. Here she is showing off her platform shoes that make her 3" taller!

Lealani wowed the crowd with her marvelous solo tracks. Her live drum x singing was just spectacular. We also did a couple of tracks from her punk band, The Pezheads and she enlisted me to play the drum sampler on those tunes while she sang and played guitar. We also played (3 times!) our soon to be released track 'Things Are Gonna Change' which is one of the singles on the forthcoming Creatures of the Late Afternoon album. Fun times! Lealani even crowd surfed for the first time!

Anyhow, The crowds at Kampnagel rocked and I think it was the perfect way to kick off the European tour!

Shouts out to Erik and Brian, 2 of our New Fun Tier patrons, both of whom made the trip to Hamburg to see the show. It was wonderful to catch up with y'all!
Thank you all for your support! More updates from the road soon!
