2000, reverse kick, jellyfish attack

The production on the film is full steam ahead! Here's a little sneak peek at a WIP clip for an action sequence from Space Cadet. Kara Lawrence and I are working on the layout for this shot which entails choosing the camera lens, frame and establishing any camera moves. I am also doing some quick drawings blocking out some stunt/choreography I was thinking could work. Celeste (Space Cadet) turns the momentum of a flip into a "2000" (a break move... a 2 handed 1990 spin). She rotates into a handspring back towards a space jellyfish (currently out of frame). This is one of those sequences that will be easier to explain to the animation team via some sketches of key poses rather than try to describe it in text notes. The next step will be to discuss if this choreography is possible with the characters digital rig. Then the animation team will create a blocking pass to see how it will looks/feels. If that gets approved, it moves on to Spline, where all the final finessing and inbetween frames are added.
