[Exclusive] 8-bit kitty keychain

Hiii!!

The love moos are almost ready! while we wait I wanted to share these little kitty keychains!

I wasn't going to release these cause they are so silly and simple, but my test team urged me to! I personally use them as purge objects! they are small, take very little space on the build plate and they are tall! I make them solid by making their sparse infill at 50% rectilinear in the bambu slicer this makes them eat up a ton of flush thus saving waste!

They can also be a great end of roll savers, or work as filament samples!

I painted on their features after printing to add a little bit of detail! can be scaled down to 90%

No supports! I recommend using a brim!

You can grab these files from the Patreon Exclusive Link in the download post!

JaminzPrintz

hii!! no need to buy it! it’s free to download in the exclusives! you can find the link in the download post, then sculpts, then 8 bit keychains 🥰

Christine

is there any way i can buy this from you i love it!?!?!

KG3D

hii!! After slicing, there will be a box in on the right hand side you’ll see all the calculations of filament used in the chart! It will depend on the plate but i try to bring the flushed amount to 20 - 5 grams. it really just a preference thing of how much you want to pack into your plate!

Christine

I love these! Quick question: I just got the Bambu a1 mini and followed your tutorial for how to make these into flush objects but I’m not sure how many I should put on the build plate so that they’re using up the extra filament that would be purged but not using any more filament than necessary (if that makes sense). How do you know how many purge objects is the ideal amount? Thank you!

Joy Freismuth

How did you set them as a prime tower?

Joy Freismuth

yaay!! Yeah def a possibility!

Christine

These look great - trying them tonight. Any way you could add a version without the hole as well?

CREATIVE 3DEAS

yaay!!

Christine

These are amazing to reduce our waste, thank youuuuuu!!

Aetheria Arts

I've been using these as flush objects ever since you posted it! Giving them away as freebies with orders. Just wanted to let you know that it's a hit!

jamie raschella

Yep! that’s exactly what I made them for 🥰

Christine

I might actually start using these as flush-into objects for multicolor on the Bambu!

Mike Sprague

So cute and smart!! 😻

Jasmine Julian

James [bucklenshackle] 🇨🇦

So frigging smart!!! Great work!

Julie Fernandes

yes! sorry i misunderstood! I shared a link in your other comment that shows how to make objects into purge objects 🥰

Christine

I have a Bambu now. I just haven't figured out all the bells and whistles like this trick.

ShealynRCP

Oh i think i misunderstood! If you right click on an object on the plate in bambu slicer, in the menu that pops up you’ll see flush options hover over it and then you can select “flush into this object” to make it a purge object

Christine

See I have no idea what I'm doing🤣. Would these be in place of the poop? Cause I don't know how to do that🤣 (I'm use to my enders)

ShealynRCP

I haven’t used them as prime towers, i’m not sure if they can work like that! I just add them to the plate and then make them purge objects 😊

Christine

I'm new to Bambu, how do I set these as the prime tower and not what Bambu studio puts on the plate?

ShealynRCP

They're puuurrrrrrrfect prime towers!

Morgan Kotnik

Long cats!
