I am working on a long time requested furry friend design, it is nearly ready! in the meantime Id love to share this tiny Diny flushie!
I included a keychain version and a sculpt! This makes for a quick print that can be used to flush your purge into when printing in color, push color transitions on gradient filaments by using up more filament, or finish off that pesky last bit of filament left on nearly empty filament rolls.
Similar to the 8 bit kitty, the tall and skinny design doesn't take much space on the plate, and when used with a high infill precent it can effectively eat up the purge from switching filaments on color printers, purge that otherwise would be waste.

Thankyou so do I add the snake for example then add these and the flush into item the option and select them ?

Ive pre sliced the the file I want to be the purge object ( the flexi frog) and I know how many grams each frog is. Then I add as many frogs as I need to use up all the purge. also make sure whatever object you are purging into is the same height as your primary object. you will have excess purge is your purge object is short.

When you say it purges the same amount is it from just visually observing it, or are you seeing the flush amounts in the slicer? for you to visually notice lesser amount of poop you would need to use many flushies on your plate. Flush objects wonโt eliminate poop completely no matter how many you use, but it can significantly lower the amount that is wasted. Try to compare the flush amounts in the slicer as you add or remove flush objects from your plate. The flush amount is located in the box to the right hand side after you slicer your plate.

2024-07-12 18:26:34 +0000 UTCI cannot seem to get flushies to work! Everytime I try it always poops out the same amount it would normally, meaning I've just added an extra object for no reason. I have my purge object set to 50% infill strength and all the recommended settings. I'm fairly new to 3D printing still, does anyone have any recommendations of what I could try to stop/minimise the poops?
