Stevie B - I Wanna Be The One (Drum Pattern No. 39)
Added 2021-10-16 07:53:43 +0000 UTCHere's one requested by our Patron Larry's Cactus Farm :) This Pattern was used in the 1988 latin freestyle song "I Wanna Be The One" by Stevie B. It's a great 808 pattern, but I think they used a different kick in the recording (certainly one with a lot of gated reverb added to it).
Notice how the Closed Hat and the Rimshot always play in unison except on beat 3 of the second bar, where the missing Closed Hat allows the Rim Shot to come through.
