The crazy part is that vancouver is a team in turmoil. Their ownership is trying to sell the team but nobody is buying, so now they are talking about ripping the team out of vancouver and relocating to a new city. To make the team uninteresting to the city they slashed the wage bill down to practically nothing, they aren’t even using all their roster designations like U22 iniative or designated players, they tried to make the team bad on purpose…the front office also fired a coach that was loved by the city and the fans and got them into playoffs and CCC every single year and they hired some guy that no one heard of who coached a midtable team in denmark as his only coaching experience, againt to try to tank the team…and instead this team is making a cinderella run to the CCC semis, top of the supporters shield in MLS, and it has reenergized a city and a fanbase.
