I’m just catching up on Podcasts so I am not sure anyone will still see this, but I noticed that when Alex mentions his continuing admiration for our generation’s greatest acting talent, Nicolas Cage, he never mentions the movie Kiss of Death. I remember loving this movie, which also stars heavy hitters like Sam Jackson, Ving Rhames, and the inimitable David Caruso. I have not watched this movie in at least 20 years but I remember Cage’s performance in this being amazing. I would love to see some other opinions on this movie if anyone has them. I just this minute subbed to a new streaming service so I can watch it this weekend.

As far as anime movies go I'd humbly suggest Paprika.

Matrix month would be great. Took me a few watches to appreciate the sequels, back when I basically forced myself to rewatch them over and over til they got good. Lots of cool stuff in there, you just have to accept that they're not The Matrix 1. And Brad's right about Prometheus and Covenant, they're worth a rewatch.

please return to star trek. also a critters month sounds awesome and do not sleep on the gate 2.

Documentaries wouldn’t be a bad call. If you want a shorter one that’s fairly entertaining, I enjoyed Riding Giants. It’s an abridged account of modern (as of 2004) surfing. Apollo 11 I also really enjoyed, but I am a huge space nerd. And I am down for more Star Trek. That is hilarious to go back to. For whatever reason, I keep getting Critters and The Langoliers confused with each other.&

A Leslie Nielsen month would be great. Forbidden planet, Tammy and the bachelor, Naked Gun or police squad, maybe airplane?
