Q4LW: Can someone please explain Malfurion? I really hate him as a druid. I know, he's the first druid, he's supposed to be super powerful, and he has permanently shape-shifted parts of his body. But is there ever an example of him actually shape-shifting like every other druid ever? Question brought on by how much I hate that he is the only druid representation in HoTS. I'm alliance and I like Hamuul a ton more. If the essence of druidism is basically "rawr, I shapeshift" why does Malfurion the arch-Druid never do it? Maybe now that we're getting some cool Emerald Dream and Druid lore in Legion we will get a couple new role models. A couple thoughts - 1a) I note in both this and the other podcast, you rush towards the end to hit the hour mark? Maybe consider extending the podcast by another 20 minutes or.... 1b) go weekly on the lore podcast? 2) I appreciate you guys mentioning sources... maybe consider adding in the notes or clarifying sources / future reading if out of game stuff or quest lines? I am often confused where some of this comes from, and I know it's challenging to keep track on your side when you're in the middle of discussion. I've been playing close on 10 years and I know I've missed some of these things :-) And finally, perhaps here's a topic to consider: How do the Tauren fit into Azeroth creation mythology (with the Titans), if at all? Humans seem came from Valkyr, elves generally from Trolls, we know the gnomes and Dwarves came from the Titan earthen and mecha, etc. but the Tauren seem to be just hanging around without much backstory. We don't always have mobile internet on our phones and streaming an hour-long podcast straight through is almost impossible when travelling. Thanks! Question for future watch: What if the titan we need to rebuild is inhabiting Azshara like Sargeras puts his essence into people? Us rebuilding the titan could be just helping to cleanse old god taint from Azshara and restoring her to titanic glory. Azshara being some sort of amnesia titan could explain why she is more powerful than everything except for titans (and fallen titans). Azshara could end up being part of this army of light that we are supposed to build. Big tinfoil hat there but it just struck me as I was listening to the podcast. That could also explain her affinity with the well. Maybe it's HER blood from some previous battle and she was wounded so badly she forgot what happened and her essence was trapped on azeroth. It inhabited Azshara who was naturally gifted with magic and further augmented her power. I'm rambling. Good night. Thanks again, Dutonga (do-tong-uh) Paladin-Destromath

I know a lot of people have talked about wanting an expansion where the bad guy wins, and I think Azshara's tendency to have other people do her dirty work then betray them for her own ends would make her a perfect candidate for that. We could still get the satisfaction of defeating whatever force (the Burning Legion? Zandalari trolls in the rumored South Seas expansion?) she's using as a distraction, while having it turn out that in doing so, we were just giving her what she wanted and helping her further her own goals (whatever those might be).
