Yep, seems bat/drake wings are more something folks expect from these guys. Well, now you have both options:)

But that's the very first vampires, the next ones are something else, they're damned, cursed humans, not fallen angels. Plus I thought they were more Night Lords proxies, so the bat wings seem more appropriate.

I see where you're coming from, but, well the thing is, big black feathery wings seem more fitting for vamps in my opinion, more high class that bats. You know, it's thinking of vamps as fallen angels rather than mutated bats. It's how I see it at least.
