Hey everybody! Last week was pretty interesting! Not because anything actually happened, but because I FINALLY pulled the trigger on my beach vacation that I've been wanting to do for a long time.

I got everything booked and paid for and planned out. We're going to California next month, from September 15th to the 20th. We rented an airbnb right on the beach and are gonna just lounge around, walk some trails, shop a bunch, drink a ton of piña coladas, and maybe go swimming. I'm SUPER excited about it. Can't wait.

Other than that stuff, I've been trying to get my Lego back up on the walls again. When the fire happened, they all got moved to another room, some were knocked around a little, and most are pretty dusty. Also, we took almost all the shelves down because we repainted the walls, since we were already painting the new ceiling as well. So, little by little, I've been putting shelves back up, dusting off Lego, reassembling anything that had been broken, and getting the back up on the shelves. It's been a bit of a process and is going to take me a while to get everything back the way I want it. Plus I'm adding a couple of new shelves for new Lego sets that I have, and for the ones I want in the future. I'm having fun putting it all together though.

I've been playing a few games. I'm playing through the Crash Bandicoot series, because it's one that I never really touched growing up. I had played the N'Sane trilogy a bit on Steam earlier in the year, but I didn't finish it. But this week, I played through all three of the games included with it, plus Crash Bandicoot 4, and now I'm pretty hooked on the games. I picked up Wrath of Cortex on PS2, and hooked my PS2 up in the bedroom again to play through it. Gonna try to do the whole franchise.

Also, I got the itch to play a Pokemon game, so I bought Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and have been playing through it as well, and loving it.

And that's pretty much it. Mentally, feeling very happy right now. Doing good, enjoying working, enjoying the time I'm spending away from the computer, and really excited about going to California next month.
