Two bugs (redraw)

It was time for a redraw of one of my personal favorite beetle oldies. Originally drawn in 2022(β23?), I think this may have been the first comic I drew which actually featured these anthropomorphic bugs which turn up in my work from time to time. I wanted to maintain the simplicity of the original, so the blocking changed very little- I did widen the shot in panel two a bit to give some room for the background to breathe. I tired to incorporate some dapple lighting through the trees on the grass to give a better feel for the warmth in the first two panels. Also played a lot more with the light and shadows, especially in the last panel to emphasize the glow of the fire.
