Bonus photo of the quick ideation phase for the wedgie-matic contraption featured in the second panel. It’s never made any sense to me when artists have really good looking sketch books. My sketch books always looks roughly like what is shown here and any attempt I’ve made to have a good-looking sketchpad has been fruitless and stupid. I haven’t made any posts or statements about AI art, it feels redundant to me at this point. But basically the only words I have to say on the matter is that if YOU are an artist, any medium, just starting out or grinding for years, do not let the zeitgeist tell you art isn’t a worthwhile endeavor. Any artists that feel that way do not deserve to be an artist. It’s always been a shit time to pursue a career in art, I mean literally always. The most revered artists of the past were mostly broke and diseased. The sooner artists contend with the fact that the brass tacks value of art can not be explained, but must be experienced, the sooner we can all stop wasting our breath on philistines. Make bad art!!!!!! Love you guys!!
