Why can’t we be friends?

This is without question the longest I’ve spent drawing and coloring a single page comic. Absolute mission to get through. It mostly boiled down to having a lot of figures, but as I’ve probably mentioned on some previous posts I’m really trying to lock in more than ever and level up my colors and drawing ability. This is definitely a piece I’d self-critique as “bursting at the seams.” There’s barely a single area on the page not occupied by something. My grandma used to have a poster hanging in her house that was like a cartoon drawing of a pool complex, with like a hundred different people swimming or having some funny interaction, kind of like a where’s Waldo. The final panel I was looking to emulate that vibe, where you could look at all the interactions and there would be something happening.
