God of War: Ragnarok - Game of The Year 2022
Added 2023-02-10 23:00:03 +0000 UTCAnd here it is! My Game of the Year for 2022. Surprising no one I'm sure, and if you've been following my lists since 2018, it'll surprise you even less. But this and Elden Ring were in a close tie for first place, but Ragnarök edged it out just barely for me.
Anyway, I want to thank everyone for their patience. I know these took a while to finish. I think I have a better understanding and appreciation for publications that do these themselves and show the deliberations that lead up to them.
It ain't easy, nitpicking games you like to see which one you like best.
