Despite not being summer, November is an important month for Our Life: Beginnings & Always. It's the time of Cove's birthday, the 2nd, and has the anniversary for the game's original launch, the 16th. That means we're only about two weeks away from the two-year anniversary. Wow. And we're still making expansions for it, ahah. Though, we're on the last one now. Baxter's Story is in the works and these next weeks should see a lot of progress for it.
The October summary was posted HERE! And this is what's planned for this November-
Monthly Content Plans:
It's pretty simple this month: get the first Baxter DLC beta build out and generally complete things for Step 3 of Baxter's DLC. Editing scripts that are written of the currently drafted Moments, programming the edited scenes, testing what's programmed, and drafting new Moments.
If I feel confident in how much Baxter content is done, or if I get really stuck on something, I might take a break to write some more of the Our Life: Now & Forever prologue. We'll see if that ends up happening.

That's the kick-off for another month of hopefully great work here at GB Patch Games. It's gonna be fun to share some of Baxter's story after the literal years we've been talking about him, haha. I appreciate everyone who takes the time to keep up with what we're doing here ♥

2022-11-21 21:43:05 +0000 UTCThis is a FanArt though, they added the ring in this art but for now in the Lore I think this ring doesn't exist, there's also a chance they will explore the single mother decision or not, I think it would be better if this too depends on the player in the end since not everyone actually mind or is bothered by the lack of a father figure.

Maybe she has her reasons but it's understandable how some possible problems might arise from that as well. I hope OL2 delivers on that as well but I know they can do it. c:

I'd like to know - how do these betas work? For OL2 it's simple since it's the start of the game, but since the OL1 DLCs are situated late in the corresponding game and supposed to be part of a bigger story and to reference other things that happened before, I'm a bit confused. Thank you!

I think there is a lot of deep discussion to be had about this, since it's not a decision to be made lightly, and hopefully OL2 delivers on that
