Going back to Buffy with his feelings for Cordelia, how he dealt with Faith, fucking up the translations before, and making decisions that he felt bad for later. He should've talked to SOMEONE in the group. FFS, Lorne could've read Angel, but no, once again, in his hubris, he decided to make decisions that would effect everyone. Yes, he was played by the prophecies but I think anyone else in the group would have led him to talk to Angel or figure out a better plan than going to talk to Holtz. And something that could only happen while Cordie was gone.
