I'm pleasantly surprised by your enthusiasm over drawing a new pose - I hadn't realized it was important to you. :) To elaborate a bit: Most pony pics I see in the fandom involve level ground, sitting, or flying at altitude. Not that there's anything wrong with that! I simply notice that certain actions and positions are much more commonly drawn than others.
