Just so Noel knows, no one ever stopped research on nuclear energy. The nuclear plants have evolved, France sells nuclear plants to the IS and China. Science is still trying to control nuclear fusion (which would be a everlasting clean energy). What we do know is nuclear fission which creates waste that is radioactive for thousands of years. Lot's of people fighting against global warming a pro nuclear because it doesn't create GES's. So the global crisis of energy now is more due to companies fucking us right in the bum, and lobbying by petrol companies for years that has made us very dependant on one source of energy.
