Added 2022-01-24 10:08:55 +0000 UTCAnother one for ye olde Narga, Orion, owned by Arashiin, plus a messy alt :) He was very patient and kind with me as always, helping as much as he could to convey the changes he wanted made to the drawing in its stages of development.
I know it's not an easy subject to talk about for me publicly, but it can be a little difficult following instructions when it's always been my urge with art to be free, have my own authority over pictures -- to an extent. It's part of the job to do what other people want, and that's totally okay! It was all up to me what to make the background, for example. But from the positioning of each limb, to the perspective, to the very shape of the tip, numerous changes needed to be made - whether they were asked for or came to me out of perfectionism. And I do not imply that customers aren't in their right to want certain things. There was also "bad" practice on my side. I say nothing more than that discarding work I've done feels icky. And I wanted to admit that. I do wanna please people, but sometimes I have to see how I can balance these things out to keep me drawing. One thing's for sure. Thanks to Ara for being so sweet throughout!
