Definitely seems like a last minute bail out and I heard Reiner is Isayamas favorite so π€·πΌββοΈ haha! But youβre also right, it doesnβt take away from the story for me too, just something to facepalm haha!

We had seen numerous times where all of the people who are Titan shifters have survived heavy blows in there human forms. Iβm not sure why this was the one time they tried to make an excuse for it lmao

Bertholdt only got his throat slit, not a spinal cord shot, which is something any titan can live through. Each intelligent titan has their own attributes, like the Royal/Founding titan having the ability to not only control titans, but to erase/alter memories. We learned awhile ago that the female titan has crystalisation and can call pure titans to her. The colossal titan not only has its insane size, but the steam attack too.
