New Kickstarter! And it's a comic?!

Hey hi folks!

I've just launched a new kickstarter campaign! It might come as a surprise because I haven't really talked about it much, and that's because I haven't actually made the thing yet! This campaign has a lot of firsts for me so I'm equal parts excited and terrified about it. For instance:

It's my first collaboration with a publisher (Diskette Press)
It's my first comic in a while
It's my first comic book in, like, decades
It's my first zine
It's the first time I launch a campaign to fund a thing that's not already done

So that's a lot!

It's also not a light novel; it's going to be 24 pages of raw feels, euphoric highs and emotional lows about the past few years of my life doing my best to make it work as a crowdfunded content creator. So this one might get sad in a few places, fair warning! But, like with everything else I make, I want it to leave whoever reads it in a better place than they were when they picked it up. No matter what, that's not gonna change.

I'll be talking about it a bit more at SPX this weekend! In the meantime, if this sounds like your jam, then please check it out here!

(I'm not sure if the digital version will end up on my itch page yet; I still need to work that out. But if it does, everyone at the light novel level will get it for free as always!)

Also, this shouldn't affect my current light novel schedule too much, if at all; my art energy is on a very different wavelength than my writing energy, and the next couple of books I have lined up will be in collaboration with an artist anyway. I'm still going to be writing about a tree with anxiety for the next few months. <3
