Hey hi folks! Work on Plant Lamp is going well! My editor is working through the text, my sensitivity readers/consultants are giving their feedback, the art is coming in... oh my gosh it's happening! It's really happening!! <3

I took a much-needed week off to watch SGDQ and it made me realize that I should probably do that more often. I almost never take time off and that has probably impacted me negatively in ways I don't know? Even trips like events turn into times when I'm "on" and do the networking thing; it's rare for me to just let my guard down and relax when I travel. As someone who creates multiple kinds of things it's really hard to just stop thinking about being productive and just take time for myself.

As Plant Lamp will be in the revision phase for the next few weeks, I'll be directing my efforts to my monstrous to-do list, which I hope to whittle down some more. My first priority are my previous Kickstarter engagements; I've been getting better about not overpromising too much in the last campaigns, but the first ones still have a chunk of rewards and goals that I need to deliver on. And deliver I shall! It'll just take me more time than expected. Which, turns out, is very much the theme of this year of the mouse.

Thanks again for making this possible; I wouldn't have been able to take this long to make my next book, or go through some really heavy-duty therapy, without your support. I hope to emerge from this rather exhausting year-and-a-half with more cool things to share with you, from a more resilient Zandra. Working on yourself is hard, but it pays off! Thank you for helping me get there. Let's keep making wonderful things together.💙
