Chapter 169: Public Opinion Counterattack

Atreus first heard about this incident while he was examining the new Victoria's Secret battle suit Flora had purchased.

After hearing it, Atreus was stunned for a while, and then asked Flora to recount every detail carefully.

Flora nervously asked, "Did I do something wrong?"

"No! You did great," Atreus laughed.

In this lifetime, any huge battle like Batman vs. Superman probably won't happen.

With Atreus’s relationship with Batman and Superman, it would be almost impossible for a certain blond to stir up trouble.

The thought alone made Atreus laugh.

That night, Atreus was unusually gentle, and unexpectedly, Flora said, "Master, actually, you can be a bit rougher."

Atreus was lying on his back, naked from the waist down. Flora knelt between his legs, licking and sucking his dick with a ferocity that Atreus had never experienced before.

The young man had always known Flora to be submissive, but tonight, she seemed to be in control. She ordered him to lie down and spread his legs, and Atreus obeyed without hesitation.

Flora had been taking yoga classes for the past few months, and it showed. She moved her body with a grace and flexibility that Atreus couldn't help but admire. Her long, blonde hair cascaded down her back as she took Atreus' dick deep into her mouth.

Atreus moaned with pleasure as Flora worked her magic. He had never felt so alive, so turned on. He reached down and ran his fingers through Flora's hair, pulling her closer to him.

"Fuck, Flora," he groaned. "You're so good at that."

Flora looked up at him and smiled, her lips still wrapped around his dick. "I'm glad you like it, Master," she said, her voice muffled.

Atreus' eyes widened in surprise. "Master?" he repeated.

Flora nodded. "Yes, Master," she said. "Tonight, I want to be your submissive. I want you to take control and do whatever you want to me."

Atreus' dick throbbed at the thought. He had always fantasized about being in control, about taking Flora roughly and making her scream with pleasure.

"Are you sure?" he asked, his voice hoarse with desire.

Flora nodded again. "Yes, Master," she said. "I'm sure."

Atreus didn't need any more encouragement. He sat up and pulled Flora onto his lap, her back facing him. He reached around and grabbed her breasts, squeezing them roughly as he nibbled on her ear.

Flora moaned with pleasure, her body writhing in his arms. Atreus could feel her wetness seeping through his boxers, and he knew she was ready for him.

He slipped his hand between her legs and began to rub her clit, slowly at first, then faster and harder. Flora's moans grew louder, and Atreus knew she was close.

"Master, please," she begged. "I need you inside me."

Atreus didn't need any more encouragement. He positioned himself at her entrance and thrust inside her, hard and deep. Flora cried out with pleasure, her nails digging into Atreus' thighs.

Atreus began to fuck her roughly, his balls slapping against her ass with every thrust. Flora's moans grew louder, and Atreus could feel her pussy clenching around him, pulling him deeper inside her.

"Fuck, Flora," Atreus groaned. "You feel so good."

Flora looked over her shoulder at him, her eyes shining with desire. "Harder, Master," she begged. "Please, harder."

Atreus obliged, fucking her harder and faster. Flora's moans turned into screams of pleasure, and Atreus could feel himself getting closer to the edge.

"I'm going to cum, Flora," he warned.

Flora looked back at him, her eyes shining with desire. "Cum inside me, Master," she begged. "I want to feel you fill me up."

Atreus didn't need any more encouragement. He thrust inside her one last time, hard and deep, and then he came, filling her up with his hot, sticky cum.

Flora cried out with pleasure, her pussy clenching around him as she came, too. Atreus collapsed onto the bed, his breathing ragged.

Flora turned around and looked at him, a satisfied smile on her face. "Thank you, Master," she said, her voice soft.

Only in the Western world!

Atreus recalled an old joke, and now he could modify it: Real men conquer aliens!

As days passed by, when Atreus was getting bored, he finally received news that a certain neurosurgeon had been in a car accident.

Cough, cough!

It’s not that Atreus is gloating, but for the future Doctor Strange, Stephen Strange, this was the true beginning of his new life.

Without falling off that cliff in the car crash, Mr. Strange would have lived his entire life as a self-absorbed, arrogant doctor.

Arrogant, vain, unwilling to listen—he had all the flaws that were common among American elites.

It was precisely because of the car accident, which rendered his hands useless—his livelihood as a surgeon ruined—that he became desperate, seeking treatment anywhere he could, eventually ending up in Nepal at Kamar-Taj, starting his journey as a sorcerer.

Unfortunately, based on history, Stephen will still struggle for a while before seeking out the Ancient One.

Around the same time, Atreus also received news that the blond troublemaker had made his move.

If this were the past, Atreus would have been troubled by the simultaneous onset of two major events, unable to handle both at once.

But things are different now...

Knowing that this is a fusion of the Marvel and DC universes, Atreus had already prepared to become the "Master of Time Management."

On one hand, Atreus sent Black Canary to fully sponsor the desperate and downcast Stephen Strange—not out of malice or kindness, but simply to make him realize that, on his life path, the end of science is metaphysics.

The problem: studying medicine won’t save him...

Cough, cough!

Anyway, Earth’s modern medicine can’t heal his hands.

Atreus conveniently ignored the fact that he could use the energy from the "Witch" to restore his body or that he had access to things like spider serum and lizard genes that could repair nerves.

Instead, he quietly worked to deepen Stephen Strange’s despair, so he would give up sooner and go become a sorcerer.

On the other hand, due to the interference of a certain time traveler, Superman’s situation in this universe was vastly different from the original timeline.

Historically, Superman’s battle with Zod caused widespread destruction, killing thousands in New York.

You have to understand, America is a country where planes can fly through buildings.

One plane crash triggered the U.S.'s war in Afghanistan.

Thousands of deaths, along with media manipulation, led to at least ten million people directing their anger at Superman.

This left Superman feeling helpless and pained. After all, the destruction and death were brought by his fellow Kryptonian. To clear Earthlings' misunderstanding of him, and to make amends, Superman even responded to calls on TV, attending a public hearing like a prisoner.

But in this fused universe, the damage caused by Superman’s battle with Zod was... minimal.

Even though Superman fought from New York to Gotham and back to New York, most of the battle took place in ruins already destroyed by the Chitauri invasion, so the loss of life and property was negligible compared to the first battle of New York.

If Zod had come first, and the Chitauri after, Superman’s public relations nightmare would have been much worse.

But now... well, only another major headline can suppress the current headline.

If anyone felt the most pressure during this series of crises, it would be Director Nick Fury.

It was Nick who pushed for the research and development of the Tesseract (the Space Stone), and now, with two successive alien invasions, Thor's warning seemed to ring true: "You're inviting a war from higher civilizations."

Whether Earth was ready for this war was now a topic of fierce debate among the American upper echelons.

Clearly, Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. were now in for a tough fight.

Amidst all this, Lois Lane quickly discovered a problem. She approached her boyfriend, “Honey, someone seems to be stirring up negative sentiment against Superman.”

"Is it serious?"

"Hard to say. It's complicated. Someone seems to be trying to escalate things, but another powerful force is working to suppress those negative voices. Both sides are using immense resources and manpower in a secret battle, but the side supporting Superman seems to be winning."

Superman frowned. "Who's helping me?"

Lois sighed, "I don't know. I'm just a small reporter."

Meanwhile, Lex Luthor was fuming.

As the son of the founder of the Luthor Corporation, Lex was intelligent but incredibly complex. With wealth and status, he was at the pinnacle of human society. Yet he believed Superman posed the greatest threat to humanity's survival.

No matter how many good deeds Superman did, it couldn’t change Lex’s inherent mistrust. He was convinced Superman had a hidden agenda. Thus, Luthor constantly used his intellect, resources, and connections to oppose Superman.

But this time, he met his match.

“What’s going on? Why can’t I get my press release out?” Lex was furious.

His secretary replied with a pained expression, “Yes, we had agreements with all the major TV networks, but at the last moment, the programs and interviews were canceled by higher authorities.”

“Could it be President Ellis meddling behind the scenes?” the secretary asked softly.

Lex, ever perceptive, responded, “No! The President wouldn’t bother with this, and he doesn’t have the ability. The one opposing me is a conglomerate—one as powerful, if not more so, than Luthor Corp.”

As the second generation of a wealthy family, Lex’s background was already impressive.

But even he, only the second generation, fell short compared to the leaders of traditional dynasties. He quickly realized the key issue.

Just then, crash!

An arrow shattered the bulletproof glass of his home, narrowly grazing his neck as it flew past...
