Weapon (Greatsword), Rare
Crushing Crocodile is another Director’s prototype created based on the Cruel Crimson concept. This time he uses an enchanted grinder designed to destroy and demolish a magical item and fuses it with a giant greatsword. The blade can split up to a 160-degree angle and clamp on target while grinding it using an array of arcane saw blades and grinding gear, tearing apart their armor and flesh. As usual, it consumes a lot of energy to activate multiple grinding gears and arcane saw blades that he installed in it, and because of those massive contraptions, the sword is weighty and hard to control. Despite the enormous cost and seemingly impractical product it produces, it becomes a reference for a new ‘compact crusher’, a portable device used to disable and destroy magic items that can be used by non-spellcaster.

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. If your Strength ability score is lower than 17, your attack using this weapon has a disadvantage.
Crushing Crocodile requires a specific fuel to power its engine. Each canister of fuel gives it 3 charges. The fuel costs 100 gp if you buy it, or 50 gp of material if you make it using alchemical supplies. You can use your action to switch out the fuel canister, but when you use the charge more than 3 times in 24 hours, you have to roll a d20 each time you use a charge. If you roll 10 or lower, the engine overheats and can’t be used for the next 24 hours. If you roll 5 or lower, the engine malfunctions, and you take 4d6 fire damage, and you can’t use it again until you make a DC 17 tinkering check to repair it.
Bite. When you take an attack action, you can attempt to catch your target in between the blade. On a hit, the target takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage, and a Large or smaller target is grappled. Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the sword can't bite another target. While a target is restrained, you can make a grapple check against it. On a successful check, it takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage + your strength modifier. The target can use its action to attempt to escape the grapple.
Activate Engine. You can use your action to spend a charge and activate the engine. A target restrained by the sword has to make a DC 15 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 3d6 bludgeoning damage and 3d6 slashing damage, and its AC is reduced by 2. On a successful save, it only takes half damage and no penalty to AC. The target can recover their reduced AC by taking a long rest (for natural armor), using a smith’s tool, or casting the spell Mending for 10 minutes per 1 AC (for manufactured armor).
