Progress and ..a party?

Hello, my dear patrons! :D

This month has been rather quiet on my part because, in all honesty, the days have sped by so fast I feel like September has barely just begun. Can't believe it'll be October soon!

Speaking of; my birthday is in October (1st), so I thought it'd be fun to do something special for you guys to mark that day :) I'll most likely be busy on the 1st, but I'll see if I can conjure up some ideas for how to virtually and figuratively invite you all to my online birthday party (oh gosh I hope that didn't sound creepy XD )...I'm kind of weird with my birthdays in the way that I feel sort of awkward for being celebrated..? And being the center of attention is kind of uncomfortable for me, but I appreciate people wanting to celebrate my birthday anyways. Still, I'd rather have my birthday be more of an excuse to throw a party, you know? A day for everyone to have a good time :) So I thought maybe I'd use it as an excuse to throw a sort of party for you guys too, only it has to be via the internet obviously ;)I have a few ideas myself on how to do this, like having just a fun art stream where you guys can suggest things for me to draw or doodle, or even a live chat-stream-thingy where I talk to you guys via cam (if I dare!) so that I could, say, answer questions, show some unscanned SPIKE art or other new story-related materials, speak a little about the progress, or, I don't know.. what would you guys want the birthday party to be like? :D What would you guys think was cool?Let me know in the comments ^___^ 

Onto another topic:

I want to thank you guys for watching my previous livestream/artstream session :D it was great fun, and I'd love to do it again!

I gotta admit I am not as hyped on working on that drawing as I was, because I feel I messed it up along the way. I think I know how to fix it though, but fixing it and continuing on it has dropped rather far down on my priority list. But not to worry; I have other drawing I can continue on OR I could just make something new ;)

I've even picked up painting with acrylics again, so it is plausible I could try a traditional stream someday as well :)

I've attacked a file to this post containing the process and how far I got on the drawing I worked on during our previous stream. It's unfinished and might not be very exciting to look at, but I wanted to share something with you other than just text this time ;)

Also, thank you guys so, so much for all your support <3 Your pledges really do help me out a lot, and your responses keep me motivated and inspired :D I hope I can add some more fun things to spice up this month's rewards with before September ends (Gosh, I need to remember to listen to that Green Day song this time.. I keep forgetting it every year! :p  Do you guys have any 'monthly' songs or songs you need to listen to at specific times in the year? :) Or movies, even? Like 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' on Halloween AND Christmas, or Rise Of The Guardians around Easter? ;) )
