Preview: Work In Progress drawing

Just wanted to share this with you, my lovely patrons <3
It is a so far unfinished drawing of Sam drawing a tortoise (drawing-ception! :O *cue Inception theme song* ).

It is drawn in Autodesk Sketchbook, which has become my new Go-To drawing software, after I switched to Mac and my photoshop licence no longer applies (Windows-only licence, got it from a former colleague for free. Purchasing a new licence is out of the question; I could buy a used car for less..! :P )

No reference used on this. It's all drawn straight from my head/imagination. The tortoise is based on my memory of this friendly old tortoise I know in real life. I hope I did him justice, and that my memory of tortoises was accurate enough. I considered giving it cartoony eyes to make Sam be less of the odd one out in this picture XD
Also in my anthro-universe, birds and fish did not evolve the same way as canines, felines, and most mammals. Not sure about reptiles, come to think of it.. But I assume the anthropomorphism only applied to mammals..?

I hope you guys enjoy this little pastel-colored, cheesily idyllic, what-even-are-trees, Crayolas-for-the-win, I-spent-way-too-long-drawing-every-strand-of-grass, colorful little piece of neglected artwork :)

Fun fact: Sam's head would make Dib's head look normal. Yes that was an Invader Zim reference. I am a fangirl, sorrynotsorry. The Zim-comics are epic, just like the series, maybe even more so.

I'm rambling, sorry ;) I should probably just have said something like "here, have an art!" and skedaddled.. but, yeah. I digress, as usual. ;)

Also; the rest of May will be rather hectic for me, as I have been commissioned for two massive murals AND have a five-page comic with the deadline closing in. But IF my schedule allows it, I will try to squeeze in some time for a livestream. I really do miss doing those, and I am saddened that I have rarely had time to do the monthly one. To be honest my main problem is that I am too impulsive / living-in-the-moment to schedule them. But when I do livestreams, I make sure to notify my patrons first.
Fingers crossed I'll get to do another stream soon :)
