Maisie's opening adventure meets the meaty middle, in more ways than the obvious. Okay, well, no, that's just fancy phrasing; we're definitely well past the middle now! I can't say much more about this chapter without spoilers, obviously, but this one was particularly juicy. Maisie managed to keep surprising me, even when I thought I had the inside of her head all charted out and marked up and ready to tick off boxes one after the other. Bravo, Maisie!
