Good for you Suze, I mean why would anyone have a relationship with someone that isn't capable of respecting them, and this works both ways it's not always men but I know some women do the same, and it's like they have a toolbox full of tricks to play you off against other partners they have or have had and use them as a comparison to gain some sort of subconcious control or put doubt in your mind, kind of the way that you described someone being out of your league when it's usually the other way around and they are the person that is way out of you league but they somehow find a way to flip that dynamic to their own advantage, and you end up getting sucked into their world as they make you think they are the best you could ever achieve as a partner. With regards to Daniel I think he can be classed as a bit of a player, and obviously he is someone that uses his appearance to attract other women, but doesn't have the qualities to respect or be happy with the partner he is with and expects an open or free relationship so that he can boost his own ego through his sexual partners. I don't think this type of person is ever capable of being happy to spend their life with one person that they will put before anyone else, and you always end up being the one used as a doormat for them to come back to when things go wrong with their other relationships because they still have that subconscious hold over you. I mean I may be wrong I don't know Daniel, but sometimes when you get a gut feeling about something you just got to trust that feeling.
