There is a story I came across with Pureblood vampires. The are born to two vampire parents but are more human till the age of 20 when the vampire blood in their DNA activates or something.

2020-11-18 00:24:32 +0000 UTCalso bigger stakes (no pun intended) this blood moon comet (Attamon's comet in others comet of lost souls) that comes after 300 years in comination with the Hellbound Amulet and the stone of Attamon, can ider break the curse of vampires who wish to become mortal again or them peacefully granding them the overpass to the after life, but ofcourse humans can use it to wish all otherworldly beings to be send to hell for all eternity, the Sackville-Bagg's betrayed largly the rest of the vampire world for them wanting to regain there humanity and mortality back, witch is why there running and hiding alone as a family and not as a big vampire group nest, Witch is a lot more interesting then just a long chase scene

2020-11-17 22:02:39 +0000 UTC18:45 - Yeah, Raven is right about the lore, but draining someone and then feeding them their own blood creates other, fully fledged vampires. Just killing someone by draining them, that still creates vampire spawn - usually feral, and much weaker than real vampires. I think that's what happened to the cow here. Makes me wonder though, does this mean vampires can create other vampires AND reproduce sexually too? This movie makes less sense the more I watch.

(Unless it is like in Van Helsing, LOL). And usually a big part of the mythos is that they do not age, so a kid vampire would stay that way for centuries.
