I made some good progress this week and am in the last stage getting the mod ready for release. If all goes according to plan, this mod Will be released on March 17th, and the public release will be on April 7th.😍
This week I was able to finalize the animation, create the surgery cosmetics, and create the surgery scrubs for the obstetrician. I also finished the animation for the companion sim, and I even fixed a bug that was bothering me so overall it was a successful week.
The animations for both c-section and natural birth will be censored by default, but it can be removed by using cheats, this is what it looks like with the censor on.
This is what the process looks like without the censoring, it's slightly graphic so proceed with caution lol
making an incision
performing cauterization
cutting open the stomach
and pulling the baby out
handing over the baby for skin to skin contact
stitching up
the whole process takes about 50 minutes in game
after the procedure your sim will get bandages on their stomach
Ideally this bandages should last for 1-2 sim days and leave a scar on your sim's stomach, however, it might have to be added in a later update as Im not sure if I will have time to add it at this time😢 I will try my best to squeeze it in but I still have quite a few tasks including a few bug fixes I must do and get this mod ready for release.

2022-03-21 13:58:57 +0000 UTCI don't believe there is a cheat for that. There is a mod that removes it called wicked whims but beware around small children or if you are under 18! There may be more mods available that only remove the pixels. You may want to check Mod the Sims or just google it.

Is the process the same when the mother has multiple babies? Also, if you have the time, is there a way you could have the companion wear scrubs as well? If not, no problem, just glad companion is sitting there and not jumping up and down for a few seconds then just randomly walking away to go pee or get a snack during the delivery...LOL!!! You're almost done and I am so excited for this mod!!!
