With bizarre, specific details about his former life including his house, dog and family members, he convinced his mother to take him to the island of Barra to look for answers. Featured in the documentary linked below, Cameron (who, by my loose maths would now be in his early 20s) manages to convince people in the existence of reincarnation... but is it just a large bag of piping hot hooey?

I have to admit, I feel like no amount of detail this kid could have brought up would have actually convinced me he was remembering a past life. I'm very much a sceptic when it comes to paranormal sorts of things and always feel like there's another explanation. I also feel like its pretty common for kids to not only make stories up, but actually believe their own stories. I was curious that you said this kid would be in his early 20s now and there was no follow up on it so I did so light digging because I was curious and found his and his mothers facebook (won't link as I feel like thats doxxing lol) . His facebook page appears pretty empty, but the mothers has some interesting stuff on it. It appears that she does psychic readings now which just adds to my scepticism of the whole thing. I'm not suggesting she got him to lie about the whole thing, but if he's been raised in an environment where the mother is talking about past lives and the paranormal, it may have been impressioned on him. Add to that if she believes in past lives and the paranormal already, she was more likely to go along with it instead of just brushing it off as kids coming up with stories.

2024-02-01 19:36:56 +0000 UTCThis is my first Midnight Society. I watched the documentary, I love a good parnormal tale. We have our own near where I live that fairly well known. Not sure about reincarnation, to me this story has a lot of coincidences, they were from Glasgow, as was the Robertsons so chances are he has possibly overheard something and mum was unaware, let's face it when you are a bus or waiting somewhere you can hear other people's conversations and little ones are like sponges absorbing things and regurgitating them.
