I was completely relating to him in the beginning being a shy boy with a crush on the cute popular boy. Then the switchup happened! Wtf! Killing of Sacred Deer mode. Sicko Mode. I loved the characters, the music, & the shock. Oliver is a deer in the headlights & He is the Minotaur Hunting You Through the Maze. As far as the complaints, a lot of people agree, it does feel disjointed between the first & second half. There’s some tissue missing between the earnest “obsessive love story” & the “family annihilator” switch they pull after Felix dies. Still I enjoyed the hell out of this movie for having the BALLS to go All Out! It’s definitely a lot more insane when you watch it again knowing what’s coming. Also, the nerd that tried to befriend Oliver is Aemond Targaryn from HoTD! That face!
