"Beyond the Mat" is a must see. It's the first documentary that really broke kayfabe and showed the real life of wrestlers behind the scenes. It was mainly filmed during the Monday Night Wars and early Attitude Era (1996-1998). It shows the highs and lows of life inside and outside the ring. As entertaining and informative as it is, it can also be as much sad and depressive. (Starring: Vince McMahon, Mick Foley, Jim Ross, Jim Cornette, Terry Funk, Paul Heyman, Jake "the Snake" Roberts, Chyna, The Rock... and many more).
