Nahh, John didn't lose his Scottish accent. He developed his American accent to avoid bullying yes, but kept his Scottish accent. He tends to speak Scottish with his parents and whenever a Scottish person speaks to him. Also, when he is asked to at conventions or is talking about it in interviews, he'll flip between the two. He says his husband Scott doesn't like it when he speaks Scottish, so I expect he keeps to American as much as possible around him. Either accent sounds completely natural, which I think it is - he's just bidialectical. :-)

2019-02-07 05:36:16 +0000 UTC"Everybody lives Rose. Just this once. Everybody lives!". First time I heard this line I was ecstatic. Then I realized that he was right. Up to that point in series one, there were deaths in every episode. Constant companion indeed .....

2019-02-04 05:48:33 +0000 UTCThe best episode so far for me. Everything works in this one. The script is just so clever and original. There’s tension, psychology, humor and sex. And yes the “dancing” is an obvious metaphor for sex. I think it was the first time that they alluded to the doctor being a “sexual” creature. That’s why it’s the title of this episode. John Barrowman, the actor who plays captain Jack Harkness is in Arrow, but he was known for this role before and for his advocacy in real life for gay rights. He is also a very good singer.

2019-02-03 05:37:22 +0000 UTCHe's the bad guy in the early seasons of Arrow and the actor is openly gay. Actors name is John Barrowman. I think he was born in Scotland and moved to Chicago as a child. He lost his Scottish accent because the kids in Chicago teased him about it.

2019-02-03 05:28:18 +0000 UTCThis episode is a nice change of pace from the rest of the season to this point that have rather a few dead bodies rolling around dying on and off screen.

2019-02-03 04:09:31 +0000 UTCGot one more coming in a few hours. Just waiting for Google Drive to process. Sorry about your bad day. I think you will like my reactuon for this one. I have come to the realization that Doctor Who Going Into The Past > Doctor Who Going Into The Future. At least so far in these 10 Episodes lmao
